Below are some of the charities and organizations we are proud to support, sponsor, and participate in.
Blue Beards for Charity is a nonprofit supported by officers in ~18 Chester County police departments, established to support four local causes – Unite for HER, The Sambuco Children’s Educational Fund, A Child’s Light, and Chester County Crime Victims Center.
The Shop on Market St. holds an annual Shave Off event each November in support of Blue Beards for Charity. Learn more.
BLUE BEARDS FOR CHARITY
Socks remain the #1 most requested clothing item at homeless shelters, especially so during the winter months.
Each winter, we invite the West Chester community to donate new socks, in original packaging, to warm the feet of many during the holiday season. Our goal is to collect at least 3,000 pairs of socks for distribution to local homeless shelters.

2021 GOLF OUTING
The West Chester Police and Eastown Township Police Association are nonprofit organizations, comprised of Police Officers who strive to maintain the highest level of standards while providing residents and businesses with safe and secure communities. The proceeds of their annual Golf Outing fund their organization and community programs.

The Shop is proud to be a West Chester Sustainable Storefront, one of ~20 local businesses to ban single-use plastic bags long before the January 2022 ordinance goes into effect. Learn more.
UP ON THE ROOF
Up on the Roof is a joint fundraising effort between the West Chester Downtown Foundation and the West Chester BID, promoting the beautification of downtown West Chester. Event proceeds support the annual cleaning, flower beautification, and marketing of Downtown West Chester. Learn more.
