An owner of The Shop on Market Street, Ashly is a licensed barber that loves a challenge and hasn't come across a cowlick (those stubborn tufts of hair that fight to stick up) that she can't tame. She has been specializing in men's and kid's haircuts in the West Chester borough for over 15 years – building a loyal client base with her fresh cuts, smooth fades, and the smiles and laughs she brings to each visit. Ashly is legit a huge hearted, amazing human being – and also one with a scathingly sarcastic rage ; )
Christina Hughes

An owner of The Shop on Market Street, Christina is a licensed barber who has been working in the industry for over 20 years – cutting in West Chester for 16. Christina loves detail work and specializes in tight skin fades, providing a relaxed environment, and making her clients look and feel great from every cut.
Michael Kuhn
Senior Stylist & Color Specialist
#girlbarbersrule for sure, but girl barbers, and all the girls and women that visit The Shop deserve the amazing cuts, color, and styling that Michael provides. Michael's advanced training includes Vidal Sassoon in London & Miami, Wella Academy NY, and Goldwell Institute Berlin. His client list consists of best-selling author Jennifer Weiner, singer Katy Perry, & Darryl Hall of Hall & Oates. He's the best-kept secret of the ladies in the know in West Chester!

Jess is a seasoned barber and stylist with a talent for creating exceptional cuts and styles for both men and women. After spending the past five years living and exploring in Wyoming, she's thrilled to be back in West Chester, reunited with longtime friends and former coworkers Ashly and Christina at The Shop. With familiar faces, loyal clients, and the immaculate vibes that make The Shop so special, Jess couldn't be happier to be back in town doing what she loves.
